![]() ![]() People started lining up like 10 minutes prior to it opening. For lunch, we ate at Buckets in the waterpark. You can also eat breakfast at the lodge, but it doesn't open until 7:30am. Both days we went around 7am and it wasn't super crowded. We were able to mobile order ahead one day, but not the other. Food - For breakfast, there is a Starbucks down the road the hotel. We found the little kids area by the wavepool had the warmest water for the little ones. ![]() If you have younger kids, a stroller is a great option to store all your stuff. ![]() If you are on an upper floor, consider taking the elevators at the end of the hallways or stairs instead of the elevator in the middle (takes forever when everyone is trying to go down). Waterpark - Lots of fun, but very crowded when first opening so get down early. We love PBS, but it would be nice if they could upgrade to include more options or even allow people to login to their Netflix accounts. Then the next morning, my kids woke up at 6am and nothing in the lodge is open til 9am so we only had PBS to watch. The first night, there were no kids TV shows or movies on so my older kid was disappointed as we normally do a family movie night. It only had basic cable with no pay per view options, and there was only one kids TV channel (PBS). The biggest issue we had with the room was the TV. It included two rooms - one separate with bed and TV, then the other had a bed, TV, a microwave, and fridge. Room: We stayed in a Royal Bear Suite - perfect if you have younger kids and need to put them to bed earlier. We had a fun weekend stay at the GWL in the Dells but would definitely recommend some changes. ![]()
